Logging Other Communication

You can record logs from phone calls, personal meetings minutes etc. in the Request Log. Use the steps below:

  1. In SD Console, display the All requests window, and
    1. select the request and then select New event from the context menu
    2. go to the request log and select New event from the context menu
  2. A window opens where you can enter new communication.
  3. In the main menu under Home select the event type that you want to create.
    Note: Event types can be changed. If you are the event author (i.e. the From field contains the username of the user who is currently logged in), you can change the event type also while editing an existing event.
  4. Type in the event text, fill in the subject and other items and click the Save and close button. This will create a new event.
