If you are writing a message (Send message, Reply, Reply to all, and Forward request commands), you can switch from your message to an event (e.g. Note, Phone etc.). Go to the main menu in the Message window and under Home click on an event type.

The window layout will change to the event-specific layout.
The From field will be filled in by the logged-in user.
The field To will be filled in with the first user who was at the first position in the To field in the Message window.
- If the field was empty or if only the email address that is not assigned to any user in the system was used at the first position, the To field will be blank.
- If a tag (e.g. <solver>, <requester>) was used at the first position, the To field will be filled in with the matching user, if such a tag exists.
The event window will keep any attachments.
The event window will keep any message text.
The event window will keep time reported in the main menu under the Home category.
The message window will keep the Exclude from invoice and Show to requester options in the main menu under the Home category.
