Opening Attachments

The initial message, which was used to create a request, as well as any other related messages may contain attachments. All messages are located in the Request Log in the bottom part of the list of requests. Messages with at least one attachment are marked with a paper clip icon.
Follow the steps below to open attachments:

  1. Go to the Request Log and double-click the message whose attachments you want to open.
  2. A window will open with the message and with a list of attached files. Double-click an attachment to open it. You can also right-click on the attachment and select Save to save the attachment to a file.
Note:

This will create a temporary file on the computer hard drive where the attachment is copied. If you edit the attached file, no changes will be saved and when you open the file next time, no changes you made previously will be applied.
Note:

By default, only permitted attachment types can be opened by double-clicking. For other attachment types, a dialog box for saving the attachment will open. The list of permitted attachment types can be edited.
