Asset check

Use this form to set up the ALVAO Inventory Audits module.

Options:

  • Command panel
    • Save - saves the settings and closes the form.
  • Assigned asset is confirmed by - choose who can confirm assets during the asset check.
    • Only asset managers - the asset check is performed only by asset managers.
    • Asset managers or person responsible for that asset - the user responsible for each specific asset will participate in the asset check, along with the asset managers. For details, see web asset check.
      • Automatically send notification for pending asset confirmation - select this option if you want to automatically notify the responsible person by email when the asset check starts for a particular asset (i.e., when the Status (asset check) property is set to Pending).
      • Subject - enter the notification subject.
      • Text - enter the notification text.
        • Insert variable - insert a variable into the text at the current cursor position.
          • Assets page URL - a hyperlink to the Alvao WebApp page used to confirm the asset check.
        • Send now - send the notification for all pending assets immediately. You can use this to remind users multiple times during the asset check period.
        • Restore the default text (icon above the text field) - replaces the notification text with the default version.

In a multi-language environment, after modifying the notification's subject or text, remember to update the translations in all other languages as well.
