Asset check automation (preview)
This feature enables you to preform a continual asset check instead of running exhausting annual asset check campaigns. Continual asset checking ensures higher data accuracy, reduces workload, and distributes the required activities evenly throughout the year. The best results are achieved when you use this feature together with web asset check, where the users responsible for assets verify their own items.
It automatically triggers an asset check for any asset that has not been checked in the past six months. Conversely, it automatically marks assets as checked if they have been handled by a trusted external data source. This significantly reduces the need for periodic manual verification.
Specifically, an asset is marked as checked whenever an eligible asset manager moves it within the object tree, or when an external system connector updates its ... last check-in object property (e.g., the Intune last check-in property, in the case of the Microsoft Intune Connector).

Go to Administration - Applications and enable the Asset Check Automation application using the Enable command.
