Symbol CS1504 Barcode Reader Manager

Description

Use this window to work with barcodes read with the Symbol CS1504 barcode reader. You can select and enter barcodes as a property value (e.g. as a serial number), mass-create objects from the selected codes, set time and delete the reader content.

Codes inside the reader

This list contains all the barcodes downloaded from the Symbol CS1504 barcode reader.

Buttons

Load codes

Loads codes from the reader.

Set time

Allows you to set correct time in the reader.

Clear reader

Deletes all codes from the reader.

Create objects

This option is only active, if a node is selected in the tree and the Manager has been opened from the toolbar or the menu. This button opens a window where you can select specify the settings for the bulk import of objects from the selected barcodes. The objects will be created in the tree under the node that is currently selected.

Status "Used"

This option will set the status "Used" for the selected codes (green tick icon).

Status "Deleted"

This option will set the status "Deleted" for the selected codes (red tick icon). These codes will be deleted only "virtually" from the program memory, not from the reader. (If you want to delete the barcode reader content, use the Clear reader button.)

Search

Finds the selected code in the properties of all objects in the database and displays the search results.

Select

If the window has been opened with the barcode icon in the "Edit property" window, the currently selected barcode can be moved to the value of this property. This barcode will be automatically set to the "Used" status.

Show "deleted"

The list of barcodes will also include barcodes that were previously deleted.

Show "used"

The list of barcodes will also include barcodes that were previously used.
