Description

All nearby computers

Select this option, if you want to search for all new computers on the network and save any new computers in the database.

Computers in domain/group

Select this option and specify the Domain/Group name, if you want to search for all new computers in a given domain or workgroup.

Scan IP address range

Select this option and specify the Initial address and the Final address, if you want to search for all new computers in the specified IP address range.

Remove domain name from the name in the network

Computer names will be created without the domain extension.

Write the IP address to the "IP address" property

The IP address found for a computer will be saved in the computer property "IP address". The IP address will only be saved, if the computer template contains the property "IP address"

Computers from Active Directory

Select this option and specify the LDAP path, if you want to search for all new computers in a specific Microsoft Active Directory folder. Check the Search in subfolders checkbox, if you want to search for new computers in the entire subtree of the specified folder.
