Create Query Wizard – Step 2

Description

List of objects

At the beginning, the list contains only the controlling object selected in Step 1. Click the Add object button to add more objects whose properties will appear in the query results.

List of Properties

List of Properties of the object currently selected in the List of objects on the left. For individual objects, mark all properties which will either appear in the query result or for which you need to determine a certain condition, e.g. "RAM size less than 64 MB".

Search direction

Select an object in the List of objects and and select the search direction based on the controlling object. In most cases, you will search in sub-objects.

Sub-object

Search down, i.e. among sub-object of the controlling object.

Parent object

Search up, i.e. among parent objects.

Level

Select an object in the List of objects and select the search depth.

In-depth

The object to find can be located anywhere in the tree of sub-objects of the parent object.

Surface

The object to find must be a direct sub-object to the controlling object, i.e. not a sub-object of a sub-object.

Quality

Select an object in the List of objects and select the search quality.

All

Select this option if you want to search the entire subtree of the controlling object.

Closest

Select this option if you want to find only those objects located on the closest level in the subtree of the controlling object.

Only objects which are not empty

Select an object in the List of objects. You can then select this option if you need the query to display the controlling object only if the selected sub-object/parent object exists.

Add object

Use this button to add more objects to the List of objects in the top-left corner of the screen. If you click on this button, the New object – select a master object – Object templates window opens where you can select the required object.

Delete object

Go to the List of objects in the top-left corner of the screen, click on the object that you want to delete and click on the Delete object button.
