Description
- Object Name
Provide the object name. If the object name is generated from the object properties, this field displays a string which is a combination of the object properties.
- Change icon
Click on this button if you want to change the object icon.
- Object kind
Select an existing object or enter a new object kind.
- Object GUID in Active Directory
If the object has been imported from Active Directory, this field displays the object's GUID from Active Directory. If you click on the Clear button, the GUID will be deleted and the link between the object and Active Directory will be cancelled. Then you can edit the property values imported from Active Directory.
- Flags
- Keep object history
Check this checkbox, if you want to keep the entire history for this object. This value can be edited only by the Administrator.
- Update automatically based on detection
Check this checkbox, if you want to update the object automatically with the data from the hardware detection.
- Ignore differences as against detection
Check this checkbox, if you don't want the hardware (or software) detection to report an error if any differences between the object and the detection are found.
- Not movable
Check this checkbox, if you want to prevent this object from being moved around the tree. This value can be edited only by the Administrator.
- Warn before deleting
Enable this checkbox, if you want to be warned at an attempt to delete the object. If the user confirms the action, the object will be deleted. This value can be edited only by the Administrator.
- Hidden object
Hidden objects are only displayed in the Objects tree, if they are enabled in the application settings. This value can be edited only by the Administrator.
