- Add to standard software products library
-
If you enable this option, a request will be generated to add the new product to the standard Software products library. The request is sent by the Collector over the Internet to our specialists who maintain the Software products library. Once a new product has been entered in the standard Software products library, the user-defined product will be replaced with the new product from the standard library.
This is convenient for example if you own a license to a product not contained in the standard library and you need to enter this product to the system. You can simply create a user-defined product and use it as usual. Once you have created a product in the standard library, the user-defined product will be paired with the product in the standard library and replaced.
Note: If you want to send these requests, you will need to enable sending the requests in the Collector settings.
