Certified applications
Add extension features to your Alvao by installing certified applications listed on this page.
To customize certified applications use the ALVAO Asset Management Custom Apps or ALVAO Service Desk Custom Apps module. In addition, they allow you to create you own applications and use application templates.
Installation steps
- Choose an app on this page and download it.
- In Administration - Applications, use the Import command to import the downloaded file.
- Configure the app according to the app's Configurations steps.
- Finally, in Administration - Applications, use the Enable command to allow the application to run.
Full backward compatibility of applications is not guaranteed. It is possible that when upgrading Alvao to future versions, applications may need to be updated with applications released for the current version of Alvao.

ObjectKnowledgeBase
To the Object page, adds the Knowledge base tab displaying knowledge base articles that contain the manufacturer and model of the object.

ObjectManufacturerSupport
This application adds the Manufacturer support command to the Object page. The command opens the manufacturer’s web page representing the selected object based on the Manufacturer, and Serial number (or BIOS serial number) object property values. Only manufacturers Dell and Lenovo are supported.

TicketAutoClose
This app automatically closes a resolved ticket after the deadline for the requester to reopen the ticket has passed.

TicketCreateOutlookMail
To the Ticket page, adds the Create mail command that creates a new mail message M365 (Outlook).

To the Ticket page, adds the Create meeting command that creates a new meeting in user's M365 (Outlook) calendar.

TicketCreateTaskInToDo
To the Ticket page, adds the Create task command that creates a new task in MS To Do application.

Configuration steps
Enable the Administration - Settings - Microsoft Entra ID - Features - Microsoft To-Do feature. To view the command on the ticket page, the user must be a member of the service team of the ticket service and be authenticated by Microsoft Entra ID.
TicketShowLinkDiagram
To the Ticket page, adds the CMDB diagram tab with the linked objects.
