  • WA - Insider Preview - new functionality added.
  • ALVAO for Outlook:
    • Request – Communication tab – added user portraits. (T139562ALVAO)
  • Service Desk:
    • Request – Followers/Request participants – when adding followers or request participants you can look up also user groups. By selecting a group, all group members are added. (T140890ALVAO)

New features and changes:

  • ALVAO for Outlook:
    • AppSource add-in – No request found page – the sections Recent communication with sender and Recently viewed requests were added to the page that is displayed when a request was not found or logged user in the add-in does not have permission to view it. (T139546ALVAO)
    • AppSource add-in – features are available also in calendars. (T139576ALVAO)
    • Request – added commands to write a note and resolve a request. (T139511ALVAO)

  • Service Desk
    • Approving by e-mail – e-mail sent by approver - request name added to the e-mail subject; the requester name and link to the corresponding request log record were added to the body of the e-mail. (T140505ALVAO)

New features and changes:

  • Requests – Table – if the option Show the number of unread requests is on the content of the table is automatically periodically updated. (T143823ALVAO)
  • ALVAO Standard HW/SW Request Forms:
    • Both forms are now part of WebApp. Use system forms according to the new documentation instead of custom forms if possible. Migration includes several steps:
      1. Import example service with custom columns or create custom columns manually.
      2. Transfer settings from the code in HW form to service custom columns. Instead of categoryObjectKind parameter change the kind of the objects to Request for HW – category.
      3. Set new custom form URL for the service. (T124138ALVAO)
  • HTML print templates (Transfer Inner Differential / Transfer Inner Summary) now support new variables:
    • @Model.Receiver[<property name>] – for all object properties of the person who receives the asset.
    • @Model.Originator[<property name>] – for all object properties of the person who handed over the asset. (T146245ALVAO)
  • Text of the custom notification for Request due date changed is saved in the request log instead of the system generated log record text. (T142106ALVAO)
